Several years ago, we talked about a very cool Shelby GT500 clone from Classic Recreations. The car we talked about then looked exactly like the car we’re going to talk about today, but they’re different models. The one from three years ago was a 900S model, and the one we’re looking at today is a GT500 CR900C.
That Aluminator V8 under the hood of the Classic Recreations GT500CR 900C is also fitted with a Roush supercharger with a pulley upgrade. The engine is attached to a Tremec TKO 600 manual transmission that sends power to a nine-inch Fab 9 rear fitted with 3.70 gears and Posi Traction. The car features custom rack and pinion steering and a Flaming River tilt steering column.
