It’s a 79. I’ve owned it for 7 years and am still putting it together. It has has a 9” lift with 42” Super Swamper Iroks.
The motor is a 68 Thunder Jet 429, it’s bored 60 over with 11:1 flat tops and the usual porting and polishing, waiting for the break in on the motor for the big carb and final tuning.
The motor is backed by a C6 and 513 gears, ladder bars etc. I have some chrome side pieces of another truck that I’m deciding on whether or not to install, and have just started redoing the interior, I’m not sure we ever finish these things!
