This is my 1978 Ford Bronco ranger XLT. I bought it when I was 19 years old. It came with a 351m and a C6 automatic transmission. The previous owner had stroked the 351m to 400 and made a “400m” I LOVE that engine. I daily this truck and so I wanted a 5 speed transmission... something with a overdrive. I found a 1988 f350 4x4 with a 460 and a zf5 and bought it and then pulled the engine and trans out. I built the 460 to make 550hp and 650ft on the dyno, with high compression aluminum heads. A crane roller solid lifter cam. And a edlebrock pro flo 4 fuel injection system and then installed it in the truck!

I also installed a Ford 9 inch built by “Strange” which has 350:1 gears and a Detroit locker. The front is a Dana 44 with a torsion LSD. It rides on 37 inch tall by 12.5 inch wide Mickey Thompson MTZP3 tires and Mickey Thompson Baja wheels. It’s got disc brakes on all 4 corners. And duel Fox shocks! I then installed a “soft toppers” soft top and installed ford expedition limited seats!
