Bought the truck in 2015 and started restoring it right away started with the engine which is a 400m .060 over with a roller cam had to weld bosses on to hold the spider in for the roller lifters. Scorpion rocker arms and edelbrock performer intake and heads with a 750 edelbrock carb. Powder coated the frame and installed a 4inch suspension lift stainless break lines. Next I installed the 5 speed transmission out of a 89 with a 460 donor truck. Used a flywheel spacer from T-meyer. Clutch from the 5 speed and a brog and beck pressure plate from the original 4 speed and a dodge throwout bearing. Had to make my own mount to adapt where the trans mounted. And to help support the np205 I made a extra support bracket for that too. Had the drive shaft shortened about 1.5in since the new trans is longer. Adapted the hydralic slave cylinder to work with the original clutch pedal. Had a local shop paint and do the body work and also to make a custom seat cover with new foam. Super fun build and got to work on it together with my dad over the years! Now it's almost summer here in central wisconsin to get some drive time!
