My dad Steven who everyone called him Skeeter built this truck back in 2008. It all started from a 67 f100. He had this idea to build a custom 67 3/4 ton 4x4 shortbed truck which Ford never built factory. He took a longbed 3/4 ton frame shortened it to fit the short bed. Then he converted the rest of the truck to 3/4 ton 4x4 shortbed. It has a 360 engine with a C6 transmission on 42 inch super swamper tires. My dad had certain things from the 67-72 trucks that he liked. His favorite grille was the 69 grille so he used that and also used 68 marker reflectors. Everyone has there own preferences so he built it they way he wanted. He’s built many 67-72 Ford trucks over the years. My dad passed away from prostate cancer over 3 years ago. People have noooo idea the passion he has for these trucks. He was an electrician his whole life and built these in his free time in his garage at home. One of my dads wishes was to have his ashes placed in the trucks after he passed. I honored his wish and he rides with me always. Since my dad has passed I’ve acquired 4 of his builds. Recently I’ve acquired his very first build a 1969 F-250 that I’m planning on getting back to the way he built it. These trucks are in our blood and we have a connection through these trucks that will live on forever. I continue to carry on my dads legacy through his trucks. I miss him a lot. He lives on through his trucks and I’m gonna make sure of that.
