This 1986 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat 4×4 is a regular cab example finished in black over red cloth and is powered by a 6.9-liter diesel V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Features include a long bed, a bench seat, cruise control, air conditioning, an AM/FM cassette stereo, chrome bumpers, and a sliding rear window.
The truck is said to have been refinished in black and it features an eight-foot bed, chrome bumpers, swing-away side mirrors, aluminum bedside rails, aluminum side trim, a receiver hitch, a sliding rear window, a bed liner, a tonneau cover, and brushed aluminum tailgate trim. Photos of the bed with the tonneau cover removed are shown in the gallery below. Polished 16″ alloy wheels wear 285/75 Michelin LTX M/S tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs and rear chrome hubcaps. Stopping power is provided by vented discs up front and drums out back. The brake master cylinder was replaced in November 2021.
The regular cab features a bench seat upholstered in red cloth along with matching door cards, carpets, and a dashboard trimmed with faux woodgrain. Equipment includes a folding center armrest, crank windows, air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, black rubber floor mats, a carpeted dash cover, and a Stowline lockable truck caddy.
The two-spoke steering wheel features cruise control buttons and fronts an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges indicating coolant temperature, amperage, oil temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 10k miles.
The indirect injection International Harvester 6.9-liter diesel V8 was rated at 170 horsepower and 307 lb-ft of torque when new. The oil was changed and a fuel return line and the glow plugs were replaced in November 2021.
