This 1978 F150 is currently owned by Kristi and Jim White of Orlando, Florida and has a build date of July 5, 1978 when it was delivered to the Cleveland, Ohio regional Ford dealership office. It has retained its triple red colors and is almost 100% as factory correct, currently registering 110,000 original miles. This ’78 has Ranger trim, sliding rear window, and chrome grill insets. The factory bumper guards were added along with the diamond plate bed caps, tool box, and chrome step bumper. The bed is covered with an Extang tonneau cover. The interior is original except for the addition of the XLT trimmed wood grain dash surrounds and Retro Sound radio system. The truck sits on 33x12.5x15 BFG KO2s wrapping the 15x10 ION aluminum wheels. The 351M was improved in 2019 with electronic ignition and FiTech fuel injection system and is mated to the original C6 transmission and NP205 transfer case. The truck was first restored in 2014 by Jeff Welch of Crooksville, Ohio.
