The original "Eleanor" was a customized 1971 Ford Mustang SportsRoof that was featured in independent filmmaker "Toby" Halicki's 1974 film, cult-favorite “Gone in 60 Seconds.” This resulted in the original "Eleanor" being the only Ford Mustang to receive star title credit in a movie. The “Eleanor” name was seen again, this time associated with a 1967 Mustang fastback in the 2000 remake of “Gone in 60 Seconds” and this particular car is an imitation of this massively famous machine.

This fine example is reported as having “one of the finest handmade fiberglass 'Eleanor' kits installed” to this 95,000 actual mile platform that has received a rotisserie restoration during the course of its custom build. A photo album of the build is included in the sale.
