Here's the finished vehicle after months of effort. The DuPont HotHues hue is just what we were looking for. We've driven the vehicle for approximately 450 miles already, and it's a joy to drive! On a 1940, the rear 3/4 view is quite amazing. The tonneu cover is also visible; it's hidden beneath the bed for a cleaner appearance. The white helps to lighten things up. You can see the pinstripping in this photo; it's exactly the correct quantity and style. It certainly helps this truck stand out.

The smaller Crestliner wheel and bespoke Classic Instruments really bring the interior to life in this photo! It's a blast to drive because to the 5-speed transmission. The 385hp Fast Burn engine is clothed with a set of Camel Toe Racing valve covers and an O'brien trucks aircleaner in this finished image of the engine room (with gold painted fins). For the first year, we removed the air conditioning compressor (it just didn't seem right), but we'll reinstall it before next spring for increased comfort. The vehicle is really comfortable going down the highway as is, thanks to the cowl vent! Even though the tonneu cover is normally left on, the floor is nicely polished.
