The truck is a 1975 Ford F-250 highboy ranger XLT. My dad bought as a father son project. The story that I was told it was. It was from Portland Oregon it was a farm truck at one point in it’s life and was originally a 360 automatic as well. Now it has a 390 4-speed that someone put in. The motor is bored 30 over has a RV cam and a double roller timing chain. That is all I know so about the internals of the motor. The only thing that I have done to the motor is valve cover and I put Stan’s longtube headers in it along with a new exhaust. I also put L&L traction bars on it and put a benchwork steering kit on as well since the old box was worn out. The truck still has its factory 4 suspension on it but it also has a 3 inch body lift on as well. The front axle has been changed over to a open knuckle and disc brakes. The truck isn’t perfect and does need a restoration but it doesn’t have much rust. My dad and I have own this truck for 11 years now and we have no plans on ever selling it.
