This custom pickup received a complete frame-off restoration and is powered by a 350ci small-block Chevrolet V8 engine with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock aluminum Intake. The engine features many polished components, including the air filter canister, valve covers and polished alternator case. The firewall has been recessed to allow clearance for the V8 and the firewall has a chrome polish finish. The engine is mated to a 4-speed 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive and a high-performance Ford 9-inch rear end. A rebuilt polished radiator and new wiring harnesses have been installed. Ceramic-coated headers with custom dual exhaust and chrome tips provide a great sound. It rides on a Mustang II front clip, complete with power front disc brakes and power steering. The exterior is finished in show-quality Dark Burgundy, and a new wood bed complete with chrome rails was installed. Chrome pieces and modern headlights give the truck a modern yet retro look. The Saddle Tan interior is leather and features custom door panels, headliner and seats. All weatherstripping and glass are new. It also includes power windows and new gauges. This Ford rides on professionally powder-coated rims, complete with beauty rings and dog dish hubcaps wrapped in new tires.
