The truck started out as a rusted out 1968 crew cab. I found a pretty clean 2014 6.7 king ranch short bed truck to use as the drivetrain/ interior. I cut the whole body off the 6.7 except for the floor and firewall. I left them bolted to the 6.7 frame and lowered the 68 body over top. The 68 was too short so I put a front door in the rear to stretch the cab about 10”. This made the floor of the 2014 line up perfectly with the rear of the 68 cab. I then used the 2014 bed floor and mounted my 68 bed sides to it. I had to chop about 2” off the rear frame to fit the roll pan and then the front I had to cut and make custom frame horns. The rear axle landed perfectly in the wheel wells and the front axle I moved forward about 2”. I moved a couple things around in the engine bay and moved the battery’s behind the back seat.
