My son and I completely restored this Highboy from top to bottom. We purchased the truck out of Oklahoma, minimal rust, but hundreds of hail dents. I have worked in an automotive body shop for over 25 years, so that part came fairly easily. We sandblasted the frame, painted it and then installed the newly rebuilt 390 FE. The hardest part of the build was deciding on a color combo. I think the black and silver turned out pretty nice. We did not have the racetrack trim, so decided to run a pinstripe in its place. HEI ignition, aluminum radiator with electric fans, Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor, Edelbrock rpm performer intake, Edelbrock engine dress up kit, red rock lights, all new interior, glass, and complete underbody and inside box floor sprayed-on-bedliner are a few of our custom touches.
