Bought the truck in March 2007. Was a driver with a 400 automatic and A/C. Drove it a couple weeks then tore it all apart, stripped to bare metal and painted inside and out white with white and gold pearl tri-coat. Had it back on the road July 4th 2007. Drove it 6 weeks then pulled it back apart for the 1997 12V Cummins swap. Wild Diesel built went through the motor with brand new Cummins head, bored .020 and put new Cummins pistons, rings, bearing and oil pump. Big injectors, stainless high tech turbo, fuel plate, governor spring. 4” down pipe, 5” after that, ATS stage 3 47RH trans with ATS 5 disc torque converter. 241 DHD transfercase factory ford axles with 4:11 gears. Drove it as a daily until 2016. Put over 70k miles on it. Utah winters had taken a toll on it but now. Pulled apart and did a quick repaint with the white with white and gold pearl tri-coat upper and rescue green metallic lower. Decided to quit driving on the winter roads after this last paint job.
