1967 Mustang Eleanor Fastback! It has had no expense spared is is arguably one of the nicest Eleanors ever built.
Starting with a great foundation this Mustang rides on a Full Swartz Chassis with 4wheel independent suspension that has been powder coated. The rear suspension is from Heidts and is a polished aluminum independent unit with Wilwood inboard brakes. The front suspension runs a anti roll bar with billet arms, Outlaw 4 piston brakes and a Sweet manufacturing power rack and pinion.
New ridetech shocks with chrome springs make this Eleanor handle and look the way it should. New Billet specialties wheels are wrapped in BFG Gforce KDW tires. 285/35-19 in the rear and 235/40-18 in the front.
The Engine is an ALL ALUMINUM Keith Craft 427 FE with Edelbrock aluminum heads. Recently upgraded with new Roller lifters, pushrods, and Harland sharp roller rockers. The induction is a Borla/TWM 8 Stack with a FAST XFI that has been upgraded to 2.0. JBA long tube headers feed dual exhaust thru magnaflow mufflers for a throaty sound and exit to the side.
The transmisison is a Tremec t56 with a McLeod Scatter shield, McLeod RST twin disc clutch and McLeod TOB. Custom Fuel cell and fuel system support the monster under the hood
On the exterior is where she shines. The paint job of this car is incredible. All the body panels have been molded for a clean and sleek look. The trim around the glass was removed and "flush mount" glass was installed for a modern look.
The 3 tone paint job highlights all the body lines and the scoops have a custom mesh screen to finish them off. The stance of this car is perfect, however being on coil overs is completely adjustable as well. The exterior door handles have been removed and are now controlled by a key fob system.
The electronics in the vehicle are also custom. The 6 button key fob controls the doors, windows, and power opening trunk as well.
On the interior the custom work continues. Starting with a 2009 Mustang dash the interior was updated and wrapped in red ultra leather. The Autometer gauges and bold and the Alpine/clarion sound system in tastefully done.
The trunk is finished to match the interior and hides dual batteries with an on board tender.
